Outfit Inspirations of the Day

L O V E

Sometimes I can't help but wonder what will happen to me in 10 years or so and who I will end up with. But in the future, ever since I've watched the Parent Trap years ago.... I've decided this will be my wedding song. Whether my future husband likes it or not. >:D

Chia Seeds

So apparently, I do learn a lot in English! Well to be exact, I learned about Chia seeds. We have class early in the morning and everything is just.... dead. But for some reason my teacher is always so peppy and energetic. And the secret to her liveliness are Chia seeds, yep,  like the Chia pet seeds. She puts them in her strawberry-banana shake and drinks it in the morning. It basically started out with her reading the book, Born to Run. Its a book about a tribe of people who just run a lot. They can run up to 80 miles, I believe, and are fueled by Chia seeds. They are very nutritious and have a whole lot of other benefits to them as well.

You can read more about Chia seeds in the link below

Oh, and there was another thing I learned and it is about running barefoot. If you ever decide to run, you should try running without shoes. Apparently running barefoot gives you less soreness after a run and can improve balance. Although people would probably look at you funny, its worth a for you runners out there!

To be, or not to be!

I never really understood the meaning of that phrase, "To be, or not to be!" from Shakespeare's "Hamlet". Well, what I learned from English is Hamlet's famous to be monologue is about being fickle. He is deciding whether he wants to kill his uncle or not, but he can't decide because he's thinking too much!

tehee :D

My situation is also like that. Not about figuring out if I should kill a person, but about making decisions. I can't seem to make a decision for the life of me. I think about the pros and cons about something but still can't come up with a decision. It usually ends up with me asking the opinion of a different person or them actually making the decision for me. Sometimes I wish I was a fast decision maker. QQ

Base Makeup

As I've said before, I love makeup! I don't really like putting makeup on my eyes just because I tend to rub my eyes and it gets all messy, especially mascara and eyeliner. But I do think having the base of your makeup nice and neat is really important.

Below is Kanako Kawabata's base makeup tutorial! The words in purple are little notes from me.

1. Apply facial toner (to cleanse skin and shrink pores' appearance).
2. Apply moisturizer after toner (to prevent skin from drying).

3. Apply primer. Use about two pumps and smooth all over your face.
Primer helps to have your makeup stay on longer

4. Apply liquid foundation. I mix a 1:1 ratio of two foundations together.
Foundation adds a flawless touch to your skin

With my finger, I apply the foundation from the center of my face towards the outside. An important tip is to apply it sparingly to your t-zone area.
Applying little to the t-zone allows for the highlighting to stand out

5. Apply concealer stick. It's okay to use it heavily to get used to it!
Make sure to blend out so it doesn't look so unnatural. By highlighting the t-zone it creates a brighter look and a slimmer/straighter nose.

6. Apply finishing powder. I love BOBBI BROWN 5!!!! LOL
Apply enough so that it's even and pat it on!
Applying powder helps for the makeup to stay on

 7. Apply contour!  Applying a dark shade around the circumference of your face will make it appear smaller~

8. Next is highlight!

Using a matte white color, apply to your nose bridge and under your eyes, as well.

9. Nose shadow!
Using M.A.C.'s Cork shade, I apply it only to the tip of my nose because its too round!
Contouring is like a temporary nose job :o

10. Next is blush! I usually use NARS orange blush, but today I'm using Candy Doll's pink blush.
Apply it from the highest point of your cheekbone to under your ears. Be careful not to add too much. Make sure that its even.

11. Lastly, eyebrows! I have rising eyebrows, so I draw them on like a mountain.

These are just finishing touches, but I use setting spraying so that the make up wont get messed up.

I use IKEMES all over my face and you're done!

I love Creepers!

Noo.. not those stalker guys/girls but.. creepers as in the shoes! They are platform shoes adding about an inch or two in height and look like.. that!

I want them but I has no moniezzzzzzzzz. I think they are a great pair of shoes and would complement any outfit. :(

Circle Lenses!

For those of you that don't know circle lenses are they are contacts which make your iris look a bigger, giving an overall effect of bigger eyes that stand out. You may see them in worn by Gyarus or Ulzzangs. The regular size of our eyes are about 13.8mm if I'm not mistaken. And circle lenses range from 14.0 to 15.0 or higher. I've tried 14.0 and 14.5s and I've got to say the 14.5s are freaky. The 14.5s leave just a little bit of room for the whites, and when you smile leave even more less room. The 14.0s are nice though, giving a little dolly effect. So far the lenses I've tried are the ck-105s, xck-105s, and Bambi Almond Browns.
Here's a picture of me with the Bambi Almond Browns~
Taken with flash

I plan on doing review on the lenses I have so far and my soon to be Angel Browns! Look forward to it :D

A Tribute to Makeup

Sometimes it irks me when people say makeup is what makes a girl beautiful. Or.. she's only pretty because she has makeup on. Maybe I'm being bias here because I love makeup and I will defend it no matter what! I believe makeup enhances the features already there. It does not hide your true self and I believe it wasn't meant to. For me, makeup is fun to play with and makes you feel better and more confident in yourself. I love you makeup!

Growing Hair Out

Long, shiny, flowy hair is my goal! Especially by May, that's when prom is. But I don't think I'll achieve it anytime soon. I've treated my hair horribly throughout the years. Freshman year I died it blonde and my hair was a disaster, so dry and brittle, and the blonde didn't suit me so I dyed it black after a week. The past two years I've been treating it decently, haven't been straightening my hair that often or dying except for last month when I dyed my hair redblack, but it turned brown!  I'm thinking of dying my hair again probably a lighter brown.

I'm also thinking about getting bangs. Sticking with a hairstyle for so long makes me want to change. Right now my hair is growing out plainly, no layers. But.. by sweeping my hair from the other side and bobby pin it I can pretend I have bangs!

Tip: If you want shiny healthy looking hair, condition your hair and leave it in for about 2 minutes and massage your scalp. Then rinse it off with cold water. Hope this helps!

Outfit Inspirations of the Day

I get most of my fashion inspirations and outfit ideas from tumblr, tehee. Some people just have such good fashion sense!

Spring Love

There are two fashion trends I am in love with right now and they are... collars and skirts! Ever since I was little I've always hated skirts but seasons change if you get what I mean. Haha, I'm witty! No, not really... But as I was saying its now Spring and the time for nice skirts. I like to wear nice soft pleated skirts. But sometimes my legs feel too bare with just a skirt on so I usually wear leggings with them. I'm shy, what can I say. *shrug* Collars are also very cute! Layering a collared shirt under another shirt brings a little flare to a plain outfit.

Maplestory

One of my childhood addictions is the game *drumroll* Maplestory! The title probably gave it away but meh. I'm still active till this day (I need to quit! T_____T) The people there are really funny and nice! I don't really play much in terms of bossing and what not but more of killing other people in PvP :D Some people may not like it but I absolutely love it. So addicting.. I play in the server Bera my ign is Anchoby, it's a fish!

If your interested in Maplestory or PvP then read on!

Class Imbalance
There is a major class imbalance. Classes with invincibility, ultimate moves, and good mobbing skills generally tend to get a score more points. Mages as of right now rule PvP, since they fit most of the criteria listed above.

Some classes that are pretty easy to play:
BaMs
Cannoneers
Mages

Some classes that have a harder time playing:
Gunslingers
Bowmen
Night Lords

Battle Gear
Unfortunantly, Maplestory PvPing is heavily based on equipment. Not the regular equipment you would use to kill bosses with but PvP equipment. Equipment that has battle attack is what you want. You can find these at the PvP arena all the way to the right, Larson sells all the equipment/recipes with battle attack. Stats such as HP, Defense, M.att, Speed, do matter though.

I'm missing a couple of key things but I'm going to end this right here because I'm getting kind of lazy to finish this, but if you want me to elaborate any further just PM me and I'll go ahead and update this for you!

But I'll leave you with a cool little video of me PvPing:

Enjoy!

Spring Break!

Well it's Spring Break~
I live such a boring life! Staying home, computer, play dress-up, play dress-up games, some more computer, think about doing something productive but ends up doing nothing. That's pretty much how my day goes. Sometimes it makes me wonder what other people do. @_@ But I guess it's nice to have time off from school. Well... not really

To Do List:
Learn to Drive!
Computer Science Homework - Which I will probably find the code online
Read Brave New World - Which I will probably sparknote or watch the movie
Calculus Homework - Try and not fail the class
GO SHOPPING! <3
